Breville BES870XL Barista Express Espresso Machine

Breville BES870XL Barista Express Espresso Machine Review

Product Description

Be Your Own Barista!

Be your own barista with an espresso machine of your very own! You don’t have to head out to those fancy chain barista bars to get your hands on some wonderful espresso, now you can take care of that through your own means. With an espresso maker, you’ll always be able to have a cappuccino or latte whenever you want. It’s almost like living inside of a Starbucks, except not as expensive! Breville is already a company that’s known for producing products like these, as they’re the best of the best – that’s why I felt like a review was going to be a good idea.

How Does It Work?

It works exactly as you thought it would, all you need is the right ground coffee mix (or a pod of some sort, if that’s how you prefer to make yours) and you’ll be good to go. You can make the drink whenever you please, and that’s going to come in handy for those really busy work mornings. If you’re starting off days a little slow, an espresso machine will help you immensely.

Features of This Espresso Machine Review

The purge function in this espresso machine is meant to keep your water levels (and temperature) right every single time through. You need not worry about the water being used in your espresso, because the machine will handle everything perfectly. Espresso is only extracted with the most optimal temperatures possible, and there’s a 67 ounce (2 liter) removable water tank with a handle. It’s the newer model of this variety, and is built to stand up to even the toughest tests that time could throw at it. It’s a lot like reading through the reviews over at – because this is just meant to help.

What Did You Like?

Espresso is delicious in its own right, and the amount of energy boosting properties I feel from drinking it are pretty large. I love how it’s easy to get a professional finish to your espresso drink, whether it be frothing some milk or just trying to get the coffee mixture right. The conical burr grinder is equipped with a 1/2 pound sealed bean hopper, and the “15 Bar Italian Pump” has 1600 watts of power to offer. It even comes in three different color choices, so there are clearly options.

The look of this espresso maker is a little “underwhelming”. I was expecting it to be this massive machine that was going to make my kitchen look like a professional coffee place, but that wasn’t the case. It handle the job right, but could have looked better.

It’s an espresso maker that isn’t going to ask too much of you, but you can ask as much as you would like from the machine itself. The stainless steel helps keep the espresso maker tidy and looking great, although the design itself could use a little work – there’s still a good reason to buy this product.
